German School La Paz

Colegio Alemán “Mariscal Braun”

Founded in 1923, the Deutsche Schule La Paz is the oldest school to feature in our research project. At an altitude of 3400 m, it is also the German international school located at the geographically highest point worldwide. Its kindergarten, primaria (years 1-6) and secundaria (years 7-12), along with a German vocational school, have over 1000 children and young people on their combined rolls.
